Each log starts with asterisk (*) and terminates a new line character. Then it follows with protocol version and hash (#) separated values:
*1.4#[severity]#[level]#[stamp]#[hostname]#[rolename]#[pid]#[username]#[system]#[facility]#[detector]#[partition]#[run]#[errcode]#[errline]#[errsource]#[message]
