Add LNER Website for Reservations on LNER services.

Since reservations can no longer be made through the GWR website, alternative methods should be added to FIP Guide.

The LNER website can be used to make free reservations on LNER services.

Reservations can be made by selecting “Reserve Spaces” on the main homepage and entering your itinerary. After selecting a train, the website asks for a booking confirmation. You can select “My booking is not listed” and then “Other.”

There is a field where you can provide additional details. While this is optional, I usually enter “FIP Coupon.” The form also requires a booking reference, but this does not appear to be validated, and values such as 00000 or 12345 work.

After selecting “Reserve a seat” and/or “Reserve a bike space,” the reservation is issued as an e-ticket that can be viewed in the app and added to a mobile wallet. A seat is automatically assigned but can be changed afterward.
