DataObject with validator

is there a way to combine the dataObject with a validator ?

Currently, you can validate object properties, but I've not described it good enough (hope do to this soon). Here is an example:

class Product
{

    use \IvoPetkov\DataObjectTrait;

    function __construct()
    {
        $this->defineProperty('name', [
            'type' => '?string',
            'set' => function($value) {
                if (strlen($value) > 100) {
                    throw new \Exception('The name of the product is too long!');
                }
                return $value;
            }
        ]);
    }
}
