Not more than one instance of chat entry can be entered in the chat editor

We can only enter one chat request. After the GitHub copilot processes that, all subsequent follow up chats cannot be submitted, neither by hitting nor by clicking on the arrow button. To recover, we need to quit VS Code and enter the follow up chat requests.
