Description
What happened?
The PWABuilder web packaging service appears to be down or returning errors when attempting to generate a Windows MSIX package for my PWA. After entering all store credentials and clicking "Generate," the process fails to complete or the site becomes unresponsive. This is a critical blocker for my production deployment.
PWA URL: https://xo-arena-tic-tac-toe-pro.vercel.app
How do we reproduce the behavior?
-
Go to pwabuilder.com.
-
Enter the URL: https://xo-arena-tic-tac-toe-pro.vercel.app.
-
Click on "Package for Store" -> "Windows".
-
Fill in the required Publisher and Package Identity details.
-
Click "Generate" and observe that the service fails to provide the download or times out.
What do you expect to happen?
I expect the service to process the manifest and store credentials and provide a downloadable .msixbundle or .zip file containing the production-ready package for the Microsoft Store.
What environment were you using?
OS: Windows 11
Browser: Chrome
Device: Desktop PC
PWABuilder Version: Web Service (Latest)
Additional context
I am facing a strict professional deadline and am currently unable to submit this app to the Microsoft Store because the packaging service is down. I have already attempted to use the VS Code extension as a workaround, but a fix for the web service is urgently needed. Any assistance or an alternative manual build path would be greatly appreciated as my employment status depends on this delivery.
