I'm a Full Stack Software Engineer | Rubyist | CS Educator :)
And I’m a huge believer in the "One-Person Framework" philosophy. Rails keeps me quick and efficient. Convention over configuration, integrated testing, ActiveRecord, ActiveStorage, ActiveJob and Solid Trifecta (Solid Cache, Solid Cable, Solid Queue) remove choices that don't matter, allowing me to concentrate on creating value.
With Hotwire, I could create modern UIs without stressing over the latest JavaScript frameworks. Less code, less stress, more value. Kamal made it possible to deploy to any server with SSH access, which makes deploying easier and faster. That's what being a full-stack developer means to me: from concept to production. And that's what a full-stack framework means to me: from frontend and backend to server deployment! I worked as a computer science and ICT educator for five years, and during that time I became familiar with a wide range of technologies. My choice of Ruby was pragmatic; I’ve seen how it enables small teams to succeed.
